Hampton By Hilton Olsztyn

A typical Hampton by Hilton Hotel. I recently reviewed the one in Warsaw so I won’t repeat everything. These hotels are all similar so you know what to expect. The rooms are cleverly designed so seem quite spacious. Everything needed is provided. It is clean and well prepared. Breakfast is very good. There are some minor differences between hotels, particularly in the hot food. Always scrambled egg, but some have bacon, some mushrooms, some baked beans, some mixed vegetables and always sausages. I mention this because we have found Polish bacon to be mostly fat, so not too British taste !! Parking was sufficient but zl 40 per day. Staff were always very helpful. At the moment there are major roadworks near the hotel and finding it was a nightmare. However, once we got used to the area it was no problem. It is a short walk to the Old Town.

The staff on the front desk were friendly but professional, which created a very good impression. The lobby is bright and inviting. The room was well-appointed, with a fridge, kettle, iron, hairdryer and safe. The bed was excellent and very comfy. The bathroom was well-laid out and had an excellent shower. There were free toiletries, including shampoo and conditioner. There was also interesting artwork on the walls. Definitely one of the best rooms I've stayed in! Breakfast was varied and should cater to all tastes.

The location of the Hotel was Central. The room was great, spacious and clean. I would have liked a better selection of Hot food like bacon for example. The cold buffet was good.

Great hotel, location and personnel. Kids were especially excited with the family room which consisted of two adjacent rooms and they had normal beds (not a sofa) a bathroom and a TV of their own. Clean, quiet and right next to planetarium. Perfect stay!

Hotel is new, clean, beds are comfortable, rooms are big. The staff was helpful, various breakfast. Hotel is near the city centre. Everything was realy realy good.
